I’ve had those days where I’m almost operating on inspiration alone, and today was one of them. I had so much to get done for the course I’m designing and for the week ahead at the bank. I got up early, stayed focused, and knocked out a lot from my list. I keep an electronic to-do list, but I also write things on a whiteboard in my office. That way, when I’m pacing or walking in and out, I see what needs to get done and keep it top of mind. I also look out to the next week and systematically work through tasks, checking them off as I go. I’m incredibly grateful for these inspired workdays—what I call deep work days—and today was certainly one of them.
