Today, I’m grateful for my son—for his clearheaded thinking and patience.
Even though the clocks changed, I still woke up early and saw a message from my son asking to meet as soon as possible. By 5:30 or 6:00 a.m., we were on a call that turned into two or three hours of focused conversation. We talked through something that had been troubling me for months—how to structure the digital online journal and supporting tools for The Thriver’s Path™.
By the end of our time together, we had mapped out the entire framework. I’m grateful not only for his insight but also for how he challenged me. He reminded me that it can be difficult for others to follow my thinking because I process deeply and continuously. His advice was simple but powerful: slow down, give people bite-sized portions of the vision, and build from there. That’s how I operate in my core work—small, digestible steps that reveal the bigger picture over time.
I’m grateful for Matthew—for his clarity, for challenging my thinking, and for his patience as we worked through the Thriver’s Pathway Assessment, the digital journal, and everything that will flow from it.
