Before leaving for Chicago, we hosted a bank event. At the airport, I recognized someone from that event—he was headed out with his family. I didn’t place him at first, but he recognized me and later stopped me in Chicago. We were both wearing our respective company hats.
What I appreciated was that he made the effort to reconnect—and that I was memorable to him. I’m grateful for continued relationships like this one, especially with longtime customers who remind me why what we do matters.
