Gratitude Focus: I’m Grateful For Encouragement

Reflection/Why I’m Grateful:

I had a meeting with someone who leads a consulting firm focused on business, coaching, leadership development, and organizational growth. I walked them through The Thriver’s Path™—the vision, the structure, the work behind it, and how their firm might support corporations that want to go deeper than a single keynote, session, or leadership development moment for their people. As I unpacked each layer, they grew more excited. They shared that the framework aligns deeply with the direction they’re trying to go—and that in many ways, my vision and structure were further ahead than theirs.

But what struck me most wasn’t the alignment; it was the pause. The acknowledgment. The recognition of how much work, sacrifice, and care have gone into birthing this project. I shared that building this—often alone, often late at night, often carrying the full weight of the vision—has been both a labor of love and a source of real stress. When you’re creating something without a full team behind you, every piece feels heavier. Every decision feels bigger.

Their encouragement reminded me that the work matters. The vision is real. And I’m not as alone in this as I sometimes feel.

“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up…”
