This week was long—packed with meetings, planning sessions, and little time to take a deep breath. Some weeks are just like that. You stay focused, give what you can, and trust that consistency will carry you through.
As Friday came to a close, I paused to look back at all that had been accomplished. Progress may not always feel fast, but it’s often found in persistence. And today, I’m grateful for endurance, the quiet kind that doesn’t make headlines but keeps things moving forward.
I decided to wind down intentionally. I took about an hour and a half, grabbed some wings and an adult beverage, and was in bed by 9 p.m. It wasn’t extravagant, but it was exactly what I needed. Sometimes leadership is about knowing when to push—and when to pause.
