Gratitude Focus: Today, I’m grateful for the simplicity of the message and the power of the moment

Reflection/Why I’m Grateful:

This morning, Bishop Jones reminded us that Jesus said it—and then he did it.
The Word was delivered with clarity and conviction.

Bishop asked, “Why is today such a day of celebration?”
Because of Calvary. Because of the blood. Because on Friday, He died—but on Sunday morning, something happened.

The blood has signed my name.
It’s washed away my sins.
It’s redeemed me.

He who knew no sin became sin, so that I might become the righteousness of God.

This day brings hope.
Because His Word does not return void.
Because 1 Corinthians 15 reminds us—there was a resurrection.
Because God didn’t send His Son to condemn the world—but to save it.

And even if you’re wondering today whether God can still forgive you—the answer is yes.

The tomb is empty. The stone is rolled away.
There’s an angel sitting where death used to win.

So today, I’m not just celebrating a holiday. I’m honoring a Holy Day.
I’m giving thanks for the One who committed His spirit... so I could live free.
