A few weeks ago, a colleague at the bank asked if I knew a particular individual — DHG.
I said I didn’t.
He thought it would be a great connection for us both, and so the three of us met.
What followed was a wide-ranging conversation about economic development, the St. Louis region, and possible solutions to the challenges we face.
Afterward, my colleague quipped that he enjoyed just sitting back and watching the instant connection between us on these issues.
It’s interesting because this week, I’ve had several unexpected conversations about the future of our region.
It’s a reminder: when you find people who care about the same big questions, conversations can turn into catalysts.
