I met this incredible couple back in 2007 or 2008, shortly after they moved to the St. Louis market for work. What began as a chance meeting over a simple act of service has grown into nearly two decades of genuine friendship.
This weekend, we had the chance to visit their home and spend real, quality time together. We laughed, encouraged one another, and shared deeply about where we are in life—Frank transitioning into a new season, and me pressing into the one I’m in to reach my next level of growth.
What I love most about our relationship is the lack of pretense. It’s always real, thoughtful, and full of depth—conversations about leadership, faith, marriage, and what it means to keep growing as human beings. On our walk today, we talked about how others perceive us as leaders, and I was struck by Frank’s self-awareness and humility. I’m truly a better human being because he’s in my life.
