Gratitude Focus: Today I’m grateful for conversations that stretch vision and deepen perspective.

Reflection/Why I’m Grateful:

I had a discussion with an attorney who carries so much vision and perspective. My hope is to help round out that vision by broadening his exposure so he can elevate as a leader in even greater ways across the nation.

What struck me most was his honesty. He said, “God is still working on me.” The truth is, God is still working on all of us. For His work to take root, we have to remain open, open to new possibilities, different visions, and the humility of seeing all people with love. No matter who they are, how they vote, or where they stand on issues, we are called to draw closer to the greatest commandment: to love. To love all people as we love God.

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.” — Matthew 22:37–39
