Gratitude Focus: I’m grateful for new places and the kindness of strangers.

Reflection/Why I’m Grateful:

I visited Inkwell Beach in Martha’s Vineyard, a place with a powerful history of reclamation by Black people. A simple walk turned into connection when I ran into someone from St. Louis. Later, after dinner, a stranger offered us a ride when we couldn’t get an Uber. That kind of hospitality reminded me what community feels like, real, generous, unexpected.

“Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it.”
