Gratitude Focus: Today I’m grateful that my body didn’t give out this week.

Reflection/Why I’m Grateful:

It’s been a long stretch—this week was heavy, and next week is shaping up to be the same. At the bank, we’re pushing further into year-end planning. At the same time, I’m pressing into my side hustle, working to merge The Accidental Banker into the premium site on Orvinkimbrough.com and launch the new curriculum.

Building the pieces of that curriculum reminds me a lot of writing a book—it requires discipline, persistence, and the ability to “run through the tape.” I’ve also decided not to let perfection become the enemy of progress. I’ll launch at 70% and keep refining from there. But the truth is, all of this takes a toll if you don’t have the right support system and delegation. Over the next several months, I’m being intentional about strengthening the support around me—both at the bank and in my side hustles.

“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up.” — Ecclesiastes 4:9–10
