There’s a person I’ve seen often over the last year in their place of work. Every time we talked, the conversation would drift toward what’s next — that sense of potential that you can see in someone long before they see it in themselves. I’ve always believed there was more in them, but I also knew they had to take ownership of the things within their control.
At one point, they shared that a new relationship had dulled the vision they once carried for their life. That happens — life gets full, and dreams get quiet.
But yesterday, they stopped me and said something different. They told me they’d been accepted into a master’s program to pursue their MBA. It caught me in the best way. It was as if the spark had returned.
I celebrated with them. I told them how exciting this was — and I reminded them that God always has something even bigger in store when we stay faithful to the path and commit to the work in front of us.
I’m grateful because I got to witness a moment of someone reclaiming their vision.
