Gratitude Focus: Grateful For The Fact That I Don’t Give Up

Reflection/Why I’m Grateful:

I’m pretty relentless about encouraging people not just to buy my first book, Twice Over a Man, but to read it. Everything else I create—whether it’s a course, a talk, or a new project—is built on the foundation of that book. It’s the heart of my story and the root of The Thriver’s Path™.

I remember years ago being at a Cardinals game and striking up a conversation with the head of a major university. At one point, he said to me, “You’re always selling.” I’ve written about this before, but my response to him still rings true: “Aren’t we all?” Everyone is selling something—an idea, a belief, a vision, a dream. The difference is whether we’re transparent about it.

In my case, I’m not selling for the sake of selling. I’m sharing something that has changed my life—and can help change others’ lives, too. Just like the charitable work I used to champion, this sells itself. It’s a straightforward roadmap to help you achieve what you may not yet believe is possible.

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9

What’s the message or mission you refuse to give up on—and how can you share it with more conviction today?
