Reflection/Why I’m Grateful:
This time last year, I began working on a project related to governance, and it was intense, to say the least. It required early, frequent communication, a lot of structure and process, and more upfront planning than usual. Today, we hit a major milestone in that work, and I’m just grateful.
Grateful for the culmination of a significant phase. Grateful for the team who poured their thought leadership into it. And grateful that all of it ties back to something bigger: good governance and the effort to future-proof the business.
“The plans of the diligent certainly lead to profit, but anyone who is reckless only becomes poor.” — Proverbs 21:5 (CSB)
What It Means
This verse reminds us that steady, thoughtful planning—especially when done with care and diligence—leads to lasting success.
What long-term effort in your life is finally starting to show fruit—and how are you honoring the process that got you there?
Question for Reflection
How do you approach and make the most of slow days?
