Reflection/Why I’m Grateful:
Last night J reminded me that culture matters more than any transaction. Instead of rushing to open accounts, she paused and asked: are we truly helping the client if we move now, or is it wiser to wait? That decision protected the client, honored their existing relationship, and put their long-term best interest first. That’s what it means to optimize the relationship—not just sell a product. That’s the spirit I want to see multiplied across everything we do.
“The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity.” — Proverbs 11:3
Integrity is the compass that keeps us on the right path. It means doing what’s right, not what’s easiest—even when it costs us.
Where do you need to slow down today to put someone else’s best interest above your own urgency?
Question for Reflection
How do you approach and make the most of slow days?
