Gratitude Focus: This Morning, I Woke Up Grateful For Grace

Reflection/Why I’m Grateful:

Grace is the unearned, undeserved favor and love of God freely given to us—not because of what we do, but because of who He is.

As I reflect on my life, I realize God has been with me the entire way, even when I didn’t recognize it. I’m walking through an incredible season of growth on every level, and it requires a heightened level of focus. I’ve reached the next notch, but I know I must keep pressing forward.

In the middle of it all, I see God’s hand—giving me vision, shaping my perspective, opening doors, and connecting me with people I never imagined I’d be in relationship with. I stand amazed at what God is doing in and through me, and in and through those I get to walk alongside in both business and personal life.

Even my son has caught the entrepreneurial bug. I’d like to think it’s because he’s seen me live as a social entrepreneur for years, casting the vision God placed in my heart. He sees me being entrepreneurial with my main hustle—the bank—and also investing sustainably in side hustles. But at the core of it all is grace.

“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’”— 2 Corinthians 12:9

Where do you see God’s grace showing up in your life right now, opening doors, sustaining you, or planting vision in your heart?
