Gratitude Focus: Today I Am Grateful For The Official Release Of My New Book, “More Than A Conqueror”.

Reflection/Why I’m Grateful:

Today I am grateful for the official release of my new book, More Than a Conqueror. It landed as one of the best Thanksgiving Day surprises I could have hoped for.

This project required a tremendous amount of work—woven in between everything else happening in my business life and personal life. To see it finally cross the finish line and enter the world feels deeply rewarding.

More Than a Conqueror is, in many ways, the adolescent version of Twice Over a Man. It carries the same heartbeat—resilience, identity, agency, and hope—but it is written to meet young people and young professionals exactly where they are. My prayer is that it becomes a companion and a roadmap, helping them see their God-given potential clearly and step boldly into it.

“Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”
— Romans 8:37

What are you finishing, or need to finish, that could bless someone else once you release it?

Question for Reflection

Hi, I’m Orvin Kimbrough, volunteer, board director, chairman, and CEO. I help professionals move from feeling stuck to being strengthened by reshaping how they think, lead, and live. My work focuses on confidence, leadership, and influence through mindset shifts, expanded networks, and bold, values-aligned action. My perspective is rooted in lived experience, from growing up in foster care to leading complex institutions as a CEO and shaped by faith, resilience, and a deep belief in human potential.
